Today, in 2017, NoMa’s 35 blocks include 12.8 million SF of office space, 4,800 residential units and 360,000+ SF of great neighborhood-serving retail, including the newly opened Union Social bar and restaurant. With 2.9 million SF now under construction and another 2.7 million SF coming through the end of end of 2017, the neighborhood will blossom with unique retail, beautiful parks and public spaces, and snazzy new office buildings and apartments.

NoMa's Underpass Art Parks at M and L Streets, NE will be complete and other green spaces will dot the neighborhood.
North of New York Avenue and bounded by Harry Thomas Way, NE
The 2-acre “NoMa Green” would provide for outdoor recreation and community gatherings and serve as the “backyard” for the neighborhood. The NoMa Parks Foundation will work with the community during 2016 to design the park, with construction following in 2017.
Pierce Street to New York Avenue between North Capitol and First Streets, NE
The NoMa Meander will be a block long pedestrian promenade that runs north/south from Pierce Street to New York Avenue between North Capitol and First Streets, NE. The promenade will include green spaces, seating, water elements, and active retail in the adjacent developments, including a Landmark Theater at Patterson Street.
More than 4,000 new residences are set to arrive in NoMa through 2019.
Through 2019, over 1 million SF of office space will arrive in NoMa.
A new Circulator route, a street car stop connecting to H Street, Georgetown, and an even better Metropolitan Branch Trail serving bicyclists and pedestrians has been added to NoMa’s already copious transit assets.
