The season of giving has been a celebrated tradition in NoMa for the past six years through Wunder Garten’s annual community-focused fundraising campaign. Called the “Giving Tree Project DC,” the program directs $10 from each tree sold on the lot at Wunder Garten to a local non-profit homeless outreach organization. This year, in addition to donations from tree purchases, the NoMa BID is partnering with Wunder Garten to expand the program’s impact by including online donations.
All funds raised will benefit the h3 Project, a local non-profit homeless outreach and service provider, which has been helping formerly unhoused people in NoMa settle into new homes provided through the District’s C.A.R.E. pilot program.

Proceeds from each tree sold will go to support the h3 Project, a local, non-profit homeless outreach provider who is working to help formerly unhoused NoMa residents settle into new homes provided through the DC C.A.R.E. encampment pilot program. The tree lot opens Saturday, November 27 and will run through December 23, or while supplies last.
