SPECIAL EVENTS

Join us on MAY 19 for the season kickoff of the FRESHFARM NoMa Market! Back for its second season, the market has relocated to the corner of 2nd and L streets NE, next to the Union Place apartment building.

We’ll be celebrating the day with free coffee for shoppers (while supplies last) and music from Calvin Thomas.

At noon, bring your pup dressed as your favorite farmers market item (fruits, veggies, flowers, bacon?!) for a pet parade and costume contest. Friends of NoMa Dogs — which maintains the dog park at Swampoodle Park — will be judging the costumes. All participating dogs will go home with treats from Otis Farms, and the first- and second-place winners will be awarded special jerky prizes, plus $20 in market gift certificates for their humans.

Stay tuned for more fun and festivities to be announced, and we can’t wait to see you at the market every Sunday, all season long!
