In celebration of NoMa’s beautiful, new Alethia Tanner Park, and in honor of the remarkable legacy of the park’s namesake, the NoMa BID is hosting a new event: Alethia Tanner Day! The community is invited to celebrate Alethia Tanner’s legacy on Saturday, July 23 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Alethia Tanner Park. The event will be comprised of a variety of exciting activations including art, music, and a market pop-up curated by Neighbors DC which features a lineup of Black female makers and vendors.

Thursday Afternoons from May-September

Hey NoMa and Eckington Neighbors: Good news when it comes to getting your weekly fix of fresh fruits and veggies. Every Thursday evening from May to September, the NoMa Farmers Market will be serving up plenty of farm fresh produce and local groceries from 5-7 p.m. at Alethia Tanner Park.

This spring, the NoMa BID is getting ready to welcome you to the 2022 season of CiNoMatic, our outdoor movie series under the stars at Alethia Tanner Park! Whether you plan to join us for the first time or are a serial CiNoMatic moviegoer, we’re looking to you to help us launch a stellar slate of movies on Wednesdays at sunset from May 11 – June 8. The theme of CiNoMatic’s Spring Season is “Throwbacks!”
