NoMa Movie Trivia Nights Launch June 10

Our first NoMa Movie Night with Twitter Trivia was so much fun, we’ve decided to make Wednesdays this summer #NoMaMovieTrivia nights.
Join us beginning June 10 at 7:00 PM when we’ll be watching the comedy-drama The Hundred-Foot Journey starring Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, Om Puri and Manish Dayal on Netflix (offering 30-day free trial) and responding to trivia about the movie on Twitter via @NoMaBID.
The top three Twitter trivia winners will receive gift cards, which we’ve purchased from our two NoMa restaurant partners, Indigo and Red Bear Brewing Co. The total combined value of the gift cards is $225! To make the evening even more enjoyable and delicious, Indigo will be curating a takeout dinner special for online ordering and pickup. Reserve your tickets here. Visit our Events page and follow us on Twitter for more details.

Welcome New NoMa Neighbors!
As NoMa workplaces plan for reopening, and employees return to their offices in the future, there will be new neighbors to welcome to the neighborhood.
The Duncan Dog Hotel & Day Spa, 22 M Street NE, is hoping to open its doors in fall 2020. This new establishment will offer daycare, boarding and grooming services to dog owners in a first-class, safe and fun environment. The human behind this new customer-oriented business is a NoMa resident and entrepreneur, Tucker Gallagher. Tucker is also the proud owner of not one but two dogs — his business’ namesake, Duncan the Cocker Spaniel, and Izzy, a perky Yorkshire Terrier (who has been promised that the next family business will bear her name). Help welcome Duncan Dog Hotel & Day Spa to the neighborhood by taking their opening survey about the needs of NoMa dog owners!
As construction progresses, Tribeca, 40 N Street NE, is readying for new residents with a virtual grand opening planned for late June. The interactive event, hosted by Urban Pace, will allow registered guests to view renderings, access floor plans and ask team members questions, with in-person sales appointment available the following day. Everyone who registers and attends the virtual grand opening will be entered in a drawing to win a $250 gift card. For more details and to sign up, click here.
Also coming to NoMa is the forward-focused design firm, Hickok Cole, which announced plans to relocate its headquarter from Georgetown to Foulger-Pratt’s mixed-use project at 301 N Street NE, in spring 2021. Approximately 100 employees will occupy the new space, whose interior will be LEED Gold certified.
