Wells Fargo Opens Innovative Branch in NoMa

Washington, D.C., April 15, 2013 – Welcome to Wells Fargo, NoMa’s second bank and an innovative new concept branch! The Wells Fargo at 1200 First Street, NE, opened today with all-LED lighting and a completely paperless environment. This new branch is offering smart design perfect for NoMa, withdrawals of less than $20, and a smart ‘STM’ (Store Teller Machine) that memorizes customer preferences and can conduct 80 percent of banking transactions. Wells Fargo staff members have wireless tablets and wireless telephones to assist customers. In addition to the on-site team, there will be access to Video Banking, which gives the team and customers the ability to connect live with specialists across the country such as Wells Fargo Home Mortgage representatives. After business hours, the space will provide 24-hour ATM access. Visit Twitter @WellsFargo to comment on the new space with #GetBankingDone. Read the Washington Business Journal story here.
